Cord Barricklow is in his second season as a graduate assistant for the UT Martin rodeo program in 2018-19.
In addition to his administrative duties last season, Barricklow served as an active competitor in calf roping, team roping and steer wrestling. He represented UT Martin at the College National Finals Rodeo, helping the men's team to a ninth-place finish. Individually, he finished 38th in the steer wrestling event after ranking fifth in the Ozark Region with 320 points in that same category during the regular season.
Barricklow came to UT Martin from Southern Arkansas University, where he competed under head coach Rusty Hayes. Barricklow ranked seventh in the Ozark Region in steer wrestling with 400 points in 2016-17.
In 2016, Barricklow qualified for the CNFR, representing the Muleriders in both calf roping and steer wrestling. In calf roping, he placed 11th out of 46 competitors in calf roping with an average time of 37.4 seconds. He also placed 32nd out of 45 cowboys with an average time of 27.7 seconds in steer wrestling.
A native of Lebanon, Ind., Barricklow is currently pursuing a graduate degree in business administration at UT Martin.
