University of Tennessee at Martin rodeo alum Clint Southworth returns to the program as a graduate assistant on the coaching staff in 2025-26.
A Bagdad, Ky. native, Southworth competed for the Skyhawks under head coaches John Luthi and Chase Thrasher. He qualified for the 2024 College National Finals Rodeo during his senior campaign, placing 35th nationally in tie down roping. The CNFR appearance came after he topped the Ozark Region and ranked 11th nationally with 700 points in that event during the regular season.
Overall, Southworth was a steady contributor during his career as a UT Martin student-athlete, also taking part in team roping and steer wrestling.Â
Southworth graduated from UT Martin in 2024 with a degree in mechanical engineering. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in business administration and management.
