2022:Â Made the move from starting catcher to relief pitcher, throwing 22 innings in 18 appearances in a closing capacity...Recorded his first individual win on the mound vs. Tennessee Tech (April 24), hurling the final two frames of a 10-9 victory...Ranked sixth among all OVC pitchers with three saves, earning those vs. Alabama State (Feb. 25), Southern Illinois (March 15), and during a monumental win over Alabama in Tuscaloosa (March 1)...Pitched two full innings in five separate contests, walking zero batters in nine games (including four games in a row over a period of 12 days)...Surrendered a single hit or less in nine meetings, doing so in all three aforementioned saves...Tallied 11 strikeouts after making the position change to a spot he hadn't seen since prior to UT Martin...Started two games at catcher before focusing solely on bullpen duties, landing a hit and a run vs. Miami (Ohio) on Feb. 19.
2021: Was one of only two Skyhawks to start in all 48 games, appearing in every contest at catcher…Led the Ohio Valley Conference in putouts (404, third most in UT Martin single-season history) and chances (450) while ranking third in runners caught stealing (15) and sixth in sacrifice hits (six)…Hit .216 with six doubles, two home runs, 15 RBI’s and 14 runs scored…Upped his batting average to .247 (24-of-97) in OVC play…Posted five multi-hit contests, including a season-best three base knocks at Murray State in the frontend of the May 7 doubleheader…Registered four multi-RBI performances, driving in a season-high four runs in the frontend of the May 1 doubleheader against Jacksonville State…Scored a season-high two runs in the backend of the Feb. 27 doubleheader at Arkansas State and in the backend of the May 21 doubleheader at Southeast Missouri…Was issued a career-high two walks in the first and third games of the Belmont series (March 11-12)…Had seven RBI’s in eight opportunities with a runner on third base and less than two outs…Hit safely in nine of the final 10 games of the season.
2020: Started in all 16 games behind the plate as part of the shortened season…Ranked in the top-six in the Ohio Valley Conference in throwing out would-be basestealers (nine, second), chances (137, second) and putouts (116, sixth)…Tallied four doubles, two home runs, five RBI’s and seven runs scored… Produced three multi-hit games, including tying a career-high with four base knocks in the victory over OVC foe Southeast Missouri on March 8…Also launched a pair of homers to go along with season-highs of three RBI’s and three runs scored in the aforementioned March 8 outing against Southeast Missouri...Was named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the spring semester.
2019: Started all 56 games behind the plate to showcase his defensive prowess as he threw out 23 would-be base stealers…Mowed down three men trying to steal on two occasions (against North Alabama on Feb. 24 and at Eastern Kentucky on March 24)…Put up a .975 fielding percentage and recorded 425 putouts on the season which ranks first in program history for most in a single season…Improved upon his freshman campaign as he tallied 54 total hits, nine long balls and 40 runs batted in…Rapped out three hits three times coming at Ole Miss (Feb. 26), against Christian Brothers (April 10) and against Jacksonville State (May 6)…Had a day to remember against Christian Brothers as he belted a pair of home runs and plated six runs against the Buccaneers…Notched nine multi-RBI outings on the season…Legged out his lone triple in the series opener with Morehead State on March 29.
2018: Was a workhorse behind the plate in his first season of collegiate baseball as he earned an OVC All-Freshman nod…Led the conference in runners caught stealing as he threw out 21 would-be base stealers on the season…Started all but one game behind the dish but played in every game on the campaign…Tallied three home runs and 23 RBIs for his freshman season…Racked up 10 multiple-hit games and five multiple-RBI contests…Put together a four-hit outing in the back end of the doubleheader at Morehead State on April 6 as he also drove in a pair of runs in the contest…Was instrumental in the victory over No. 13 ranked Southern Miss as he accounted for five RBIs in the game and drilled a homer along the way…Also hit home runs against Belmont on March 24 and against Morehead State on April 6…Tallied a pair of doubles against Morehead State on April 5.
BEFORE UTM: Served as a talented backstop and pitcher while under the guidance of head coach Preston Doag at North Murray High School…Tallied a 6-1 record on the mound with a 1.54 ERA as well as posting a .343 batting average, seven home runs, 10 doubles and 31 RBI’s as a Mountaineer…Pitched a no-hitter in the first round of the state playoffs…Garnered first team all-state, all-area and all-region in 2017 while also being named to the First Team Chattanooga Times Free Press…Other accolades include being named first team All-Region and second team all-state in 2016 as well as first team All-Area and first team All-Region in 2015.
