2020-21: Played and started in the first two games of the season on the offensive line…Saw action against Murray State (Feb. 28) and Eastern Illinois (March 7)…Suffered season-ending injury.
BEFORE UTM: Kirton joins the Skyhawks from Iowa Western Community College where he spent two seasons with head coach Scott Strohmeier...While the 2020 fall season was postponed to the spring, Kirton did play 10 games as a true freshman in 2019 for an offense which averaged 328.1 yards per game...He prepped at Dowling Central High School where he played for head coach Tom Wilson and helped the team win seven consecutive state championships – including four during his prep career...His prep accolades including being named a 4A all-state first team honoree and All-Iowa Elite offensive lineman...Outside of football, he was a state wrestling qualifier.
