Skyhawks Land A Pair On 2026 Ohio Valley Conference Volleyball Watch List

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – The Ohio Valley Conference released its 2026 Volleyball Watch List today and the University of Tennessee at Martin's Chyler Martin and Luli Arcucci each were spotlighted on the 18-member list.
A 6-0 outside hitter/opposite hitter, Martin enters her sophomore season with the Skyhawks after seeing playing time in 19 matches (four starts) as a collegiate rookie in 2025. The Phoenix, Ariz. native generated 29 kills, 12 digs and 10 blocks in 39 sets played last fall, posting career-highs in kills (seven), blocks (two), digs (two) and assists (one) against OVC rival Southern Indiana on Nov. 8. She also reeled off six kills over three sets in her first career start at Middle Tennessee on Sept. 7 and hit a season-best .571 (four kills with no errors) in seven swings over three sets against Lamar on Sept. 13. In addition to the aforementioned Southern Indiana match, she also rejected a career-best two blocks at Memphis (Sept. 13) and against OVC foe SIUE (Oct. 17).
Arcucci is set to make her UT Martin debut after spending the last two seasons at Buffalo, logging 131 sets over 44 matches with 32 starts for the Mid-American Conference school over that span. The 6-3 junior middle blocker/opposite hitter out of Mendoza, Argentina compiled 217 kills, 63 digs and 50 blocks in her first two collegiate seasons. The best match of her collegiate career came as a freshman at Ohio State, accumulating a career-best 17 kills on a .314 hitting percentage to go along with six digs and four blocks on Sept. 14, 2024. She also brings vast international experience to the Skyhawks as she was a member of the Argentinian National Team, helping her home country to a South American title in 2022 as well as top-three finishes at the prestigious Binational Tournament and Argentine Provincial Tournament.
UT Martin head coach Jaclynn Wilson returns seven players (including four who started double-digit matches last fall) and brings in 10 newcomers (four of which own NCAA Division I experience) to the fold this season. The Skyhawks began preseason practice on Aug. 3 and officially kick off the 2026 campaign on Aug. 28 at the Stacheville Challenge tournament in Clarksville, Tenn. UT Martin's home opener is set for Sept. 15 while the 16-match OVC slate ramps up 10 days later.
