WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The University of Tennessee at Martin will be one of four representatives to play for the Ohio Valley Conference's automatic berth into the NCAA Regionals as the Skyhawks finished second in the tournament's stroke play standings today.
This marks the fourth time in five years that UT Martin has advanced to the OVC's Final Four as the Skyhawks will take on Tennessee Tech tomorrow morning. Little Rock, who finished atop the stroke play standings, will take on Bryant in the other semifinal as the two match winners will clash for the right to be called OVC champions for 2026.
It was a busy day all around as UT Martin's five members of the scoring lineup finished out their 16 combined Round 2 holes after yesterday's action was cut short because of inclement weather. The Skyhawks led the tournament in par-3 scoring (3.08, +5) while ranking second in birdies (40) and third in par-4 scoring (4.23, +38) over the course of the event's first three days.
