- Despite leading at halftime, the University of Tennessee at Martin women's basketball team (13-15, 9-10 OVC) was outscored by 14 in the second half and fell to Tennessee Tech, 80-68, Thursday night at the Kathleen & Tom Elam Center in Martin. UT Martin led by two at halftime and pushed the lead to four early in the third quarter. However, once Tennessee Tech took the lead with 7:31 to play in the third, they never relinquished it. The final deficit of 12 points was the largest lead of the game for Tennessee Tech. Kenley McCarn led the Skyhawks in the game with 21 points and six rebounds, marking her sixth 20-plus point performance this season. Grace Billington and Brittani Wells each had nine points in the contest, while Norah Clark, Sidni Middleton and Cam Ward each had eight points.
