- Down 14 in the third quarter, the University of Tennessee at Martin women's basketball team (13-14, 9-9 OVC) clawed its way back to within one in the waning minutes of the fourth quarter, but could not complete the comeback as it fell at Little Rock, 65-57, at the Jack Stephens Center. Little Rock led by as many as 14 in the third quarter and took a 47-37 lead into the final 10 minutes of the game. The Skyhawks opened the fourth on a 9-3 run and trailed by just one at 56-55 with exactly 3:00 remaining in the contest. Despite the rally, that would be as close as the Skyhawks would get, as Little Rock ended the game on a 9-2 run to seal the win.
 - Kenley McCarn currently leads the Skyhawks with 15.7 points per game, while Zy Thompson and Sidni Middleton follow at 10.9 and 9.2, respectively. On the boards, Thompson leads UT Martin with 6.0 rebounds per game, while Brittani Wells leads in assists and steals, at 3.7 and 1.9, respectively.
