Skyhawk Men’s Hoops’ February 7 Home Game Picked Up By ESPNU As Part Of OVC Wild Card Package

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – The Ohio Valley Conference announced today that the Saturday, Feb. 7 University of Tennessee at Martin and Morehead State men's basketball game will be aired live on ESPNU as part of the league's "Wild Card" linear television agreement.
The Skyhawk men's game will now tip off at 3 p.m. while the UT Martin women's matchup will be pushed up to a noon start at the Kathleen and Tom Elam Center.
This will mark the seventh Skyhawk men's hoops contest to air on ESPNU in the last four seasons. The Feb. 7 game is the third of six regular season OVC games on ESPNU while the ESPN family of networks will also broadcast the final three matchups of the 2026 OVC Championship tournament on March 6-7. The remaining 2025-26 OVC linear options include Feb. 14 (women's game), Feb. 21 (men's game) and Feb. 28 (men's game) as the league is in its fourth year of a "Wild Card" selection process – determining the ESPNU contests approximately two weeks before the competition date to ensure the best matchups.
UT Martin will go for a season sweep of the Eagles as the Skyhawks picked up a 76-68 come-from-behind road victory on Jan. 8. UT Martin erased a 16-point deficit late in the first half by holding Morehead State to 25 percent (7-of-28) shooting – including an 0-for-9 performance from three-point range – over the final 20 minutes.
