FAIRBANKS, Alaska – The 20^th-ranked University of Tennessee at Martin rifle team fired a 4629 Sunday at the E.F. Horton Rifle Range in Fairbanks, Alaska. For the second day in a row, the Skyhawks shot against No. 4 TCU and hosts ninth-ranked Alaska Fairbanks, which shot a 4750 and a 4747, respectively.

In smallbore, the Skyhawks shot a 2292 led by a career-high 581 from Sophia Ashford. Aubrey Chenoweth followed with a 573, while Olivia Harvey shot 570. In air rifle, Chenoweth led the UT Martin with a 586 en route to a team score of 2337. Ashford and Olivia Harvey were just one shot off Chenoweth at 585, while Joey Kovach shot a 581.

UT Martin will have its final tune-up before the 2026 Ohio Valley Conference Rifle Championships Saturday when it hosts 19^th-ranked UAB at the Skyhawk Rifle Range at 9 a.m.
