- Anaya Brown of the University of Tennessee at Martin women's basketball team notched her fourth double-double of the season and joined the program's career rebounding Top Ten list Tuesday night, as the Skyhawks cruised past Tennessee State, 73-52, at the Kathleen & Tom Elam Center in Martin.
 - The Skyhawks led by just one at the end of the first quarter, but outscored the Tigers 20-5 in the second quarter and never looked back from that point and cruised to the 21-point win. UT Martin outshot Tennessee State, 42.1-33.3, outrebounded the Tigers, 42-38, and committed less turnovers than them at 22-20.
 - Anaya Brown led all scorers in against TSU with 24 points and all rebounders with 10 to notch her sixth 20-plus point game of the season, fourth double-double of the season and 16th double-double of her career. Brown finished the night 7-for-14 from the floor, 1-for-2 from 3-point range and a near perfect 9-for-10 from the free throw line. She also notched a career-high of five blocks in the game
 - Kenley McCarn followed with 20 points on the night for her sixth 20-plus point performance of the season and third in the past four games. It also marks the second time this season that two Skyhawks have scored 20-plus points in the same game this season, with Brown and Shae Littleford achieving the feat in January at home against Southeast Missouri. Daejah Richmond scored seven points, pulled down seven rebounds and had four assists Thursday, while Lexi Rubel and nine rebounds and two points.
 - Tennessee Tech enters Thursday night's game on an 11-game win streak and leading the OVC at 14-2 in league play and 20-5 overall. The Golden Eagles are currently scoring 70.5 points per game on 42.5-percent shooting, while opponents are shooting 40.2-percent from the floor and averaging 61.4 points per game. Reghan Grimes leads Tennessee Tech in scoring at 12.8 points per game, while Peyton Carter averages team highs of 6.3 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game.
 - Tennessee Tech has dominated the series between the two teams, historically, 51-32 overall and 26-7 in Cookeville. However, current Skyhawk head coach Kevin McMillan is 16-9 all-time against the Golden Eagles. The Skyhawks have won three of the last four in the series, but Tennessee Tech holds a slight advantage over the last 10 games winning six of those 10 contests.
 - After Anaya Brown became the 18th member of UT Martin's 1,000-point club on January 30, the 19th member does not appear to be far behind. Currently sitting at 988 career points, Kenley McCarn needs just 12 points to reach the historic milestone. If she completes the task before the end of the season, she will become just the fourth sophomore in program history to join the exclusive club, along with Heather Butler, Jasmine Newsome and Ashia Jones.
 - With five made 3-pointers against Tennessee State, UT Martin has now made at least one 3-pointer in 509 consecutive games. The current streak dates back to Feb. 3, 2009, against Austin Peay and currently, ranks seventh nationally.
 - With 10 rebounds against Tennessee State, Brown now has 607 career rebounds which officially places her 10th all-time in Skyhawk history. Brown began the night in 12th place all-time and passed Larissa Maciarz (600) and current UT Martin associate head coach Jasmine Newsome (604) on her way into the top ten.
