MARTIN, Tenn. – The 19th-ranked University of Tennessee at Martin rifle team hosts eighth-ranked Alaska-Fairbanks Sunday at the Skyhawk Rifle Range in Martin at 9 a.m.
Sophomore transfer Sophia Ashford leads the Skyhawks in all three statistical categories on the season with 576.0 smallbore, 586.5 air rifle and 1162.5 aggregate averages. Liam Tegeler follows Ashford in smallbore at 574.0, while Joey Kovach and Aubrey Chenoweth are second in air rifle at 584.0. In aggregate averages, Kovach is next in line at 1157.25, followed by Tegeler at 1152.7.
For the Nanooks, Lucie Kissnenberger leads the way in smallbore and aggregate at 587.6 and 1182.0, respectively, while Teagan Perkowski and Tobias Bernhoft-Osa are neck-and-neck in air rifle at 595.8 and 595.5.
