- After leading for over 30 minutes of the game, the University of Tennessee at Martin women's basketball team fell to Little Rock in final minutes of Thursday's game, 66-61, at the Kathleen & Tom Elam Center in Martin.
- The Skyhawks led the game for 33 minutes and three seconds Thursday and were on top after each of the first three quarters. However, a 9-0 run at the end of the second quarter and three minute and four second drought to end the game, ultimately led to UT Martin's undoing.
- Anaya Brown led UT Martin is scoring on the night with 16 points, while Kenley McCarn followed with 12. McCarn had a solid game altogether for the Skyhawks Thursday, leading the team in rebounds, with six, and assists with five. Norah Clark added nine points for UT Martin, while Shae Littleford and Lexi Rubel had seven each.
- Southeast Missouri is coming off a 75-68 win at Tennessee State Thursday night. The Redhawks are now 4-8 on the year and 2-1 in OVC play. Zoe Best currently leads SEMO in scoring at 1.3 points per game, while Indiya Brown follows at 10.3. Best also leads the Redhawks on the glass with 4.9 rebounds per game, with Jariyah Williams following at 3.6.
- UT Martin currently leads the all-time series with Southeast Missouri, 47-33, and leads in games played in Martin at 26-12. The Skyhawks have won eight of their 10 against the Redhawks, while head coach Kevin McMillan is an impressive 28-4 all-time against SEMO.
- With six made 3-pointers against Little Rock, the Skyhawks have now made at least one 3-point field goal in 495 consecutive games, a streak which dates back to Feb. 3, 2009, against Austin Peay and currently, ranks 8th nationally.
- With three rebounds against Little Rock, Anaya Brown remains 16th on UT Martin's career rebounding list with 521. She needs just three rebounds to pass Gwen Long and move into 15th all-time.
- Three current Skyhawks are currently making a push to join UT Martin's 1,000-point club. Currently, Anaya Brown (891), Kenley McCarn (790) and Shae Littleford (738) all have a chance to reach the career century mark this season.
