
Skyhawk Soccer To Host Indiana State On Thursday

MARTIN, Tenn.- The University of Tennessee at Martin soccer team is set for a bout with Missouri Valley Conference foe Indiana State on Thursday, Aug. 29 at 7 p.m.

With two matches under their belt, the Skyhawks (0-1-2) have earned back-to-back draws after gritty matches against Southern Illinois and Austin Peay. Mac Titus collected 16 saves in both ties while only allowing one goal. Izzy Patterson netted her first goal of the year last time out against the Governors and is currently tied with Peyton Cook for the team lead in shots (10).

UT Martin is currently tied for first in the Ohio Valley Conference in goals-against-average, yielding 0.67 goals per contest. Parker Gelinas, Shayla Addington, Allie Buchmann, Patterson and Titus have logged all 270 minutes of playing time so far this season for the Skyhawks.

The Sycamores (3-0-0) are sixth nationally in goals scored (16) this season while posting three shutouts to start the year. Wimberley Wright ranks second in the country in assists (four) with Alexa Mackey (team-high three goals) leading the charge offensively.
