
Four Skyhawks Land On Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association Scholastic All-American List

MARTIN, Tenn. – The Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association has crowned University of Tennessee at Martin representatives Jesse Chamberlain, Nick Fares, Joey Kovach and Aubrey Summers as Scholastic All-Americans for the 2023-24 campaign.
The CRCA identified 21 total student-athletes from the Ohio Valley Conference for its annual list of Scholastic All-Americans. In order to qualify for this award, a student-athlete must have maintained at least a 3.2 Grade Point Average for the 2023-24 academic year.
The Skyhawks have now garnered 15 CRCA Scholastic All-Americans since 2020. This announcement additionally marks the third career CRCA Scholastic All-American award for Fares, who also earned this honor in 2021-22 and 2020-21. This honor is the first such accolade for the trio of Chamberlain, Kovach and Summers.
Hailing from Bedford, Pa., Chamberlain posted a 3.79 GPA last season – a number that included a perfect 4.0 GPA during the fall term. He returns for his senior campaign in 2024-25 and is a health and human performance major.
Fares registered a 3.50 GPA during his final season of collegiate eligibility in 2023-24. The Springboro, Ohio native graduated from UT Martin with a degree in management and is pursuing a Master's degree in business administration.
A civil engineering major from Bedford, Pa., Kovach sported a 3.24 GPA during his sophomore campaign last season. This is the second award in his collegiate career, following an OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll nod in 2022-23.
Summers enjoyed a remarkable debut season as a Skyhawk in 2023-24, compiling a 3.25 GPA during her freshman campaign. The Springfield, Colo. native is majoring in business marketing.
