Skyhawk Men’s Cross Country Heads To The Sunshine State For NCAA South Regional

MARTIN, Tenn.- The University of Tennessee at Martin men's cross country team is set for its season finale this Friday, Nov. 15 at 8:30 a.m. in Tallahassee, Fla.
The Skyhawks have put together an impressive season thus far with four top-five team finishes along with four All-Ohio Valley Conference runners and an OVC Cross Country Male Freshman of the Year award recipient.
During the OVC Championships, Sam Shuman led UT Martin with a fifth-place finish (24:27.0) that gave him an All-OVC first team nod for the second straight year. Shuman has landed two top-15 finishes during his senior season. Angus Monro (all-conference second team) finished in ninth with a personal best of 24:27.0 and possesses two 12th place finishes on the year. OVC Male Freshman of the Year Keagan Enicks has been in the scoring five in every meet this season while garnering all-conference second team honors for his 10th place finish and PR of 24:38.8 in the 8k.
Brady Millikin has made a strong push at the end of the season with two PRs in his last two competitions in the 8k. The senior brought home All-OVC second team accolades after a time of 24:41.3 at the conference championships. Sophomore Colton King is coming off a PR of 25:40.3 during the OVC Championships which helped the Skyhawks earn their second top-three team finish in the last three years at the conference championship.
The race serves as the first and only 10k of the season for UT Martin and will take place at Apalachee Regional Park. The competition can be followed on ESPN+ and through the live results link above.
