
Skyhawk Soccer To Host Defending OVC Tournament Champion Morehead State On Sunday

MARTIN, Tenn.- The University of Tennessee at Martin soccer team returns to Skyhawk Field for the first of two consecutive home matches, starting with defending Ohio Valley Conference Tournament champion Morehead State on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 2 p.m.

The Skyhawks (2-7-3, 1-3-0 OVC) come into Sunday's match ranking second in the conference in corners earned (68), third in shots (154) and tied for third in shots on goal (69). On average, UT Martin is making 6.08 saves per game (second in the OVC) while making 73 total stops (fourth in the OVC) on the season.

Izzy Patterson finds herself in second in the conference in shots (39) and Peyton Cook is in the same spot in shots on goal (20). Makayla Robinson leads the Skyhawks in goals (three) while accumulating seven points in her senior season thus far.
