
REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR 28TH ANNUAL SKYHAWK CLUB GOLF TOURNAMENT ON JUNE 16

MARTIN, Tenn. – The 28th annual Skyhawk Club golf tournament, sponsored by Alexander Thompson Arnold, PLLC and Security Bank and Trust Company, is set for Thursday, June 16 at Persimmon Hills Golf Course in Sharon, Tenn.
The deadline for entry is June 13. Registration on June 16 begins at 11:30 a.m. while lunch will be served at noon. The tournament will begin with a 1 p.m. shotgun start.
The event format is a four-person scramble with prizes going to first, second, third, fourth and last places. A "longest drive" and "closest to the pin" contest will also take place as well as a putting contest for a 2022-23 Champions Club membership. Participants can additionally sign up for a giveaway package for the Skyhawk football game at Tennessee on Oct. 22, which includes a pair of game tickets and two access passes to the Athletic Director's suite.
In addition to the 18-hole green fee and a cart, tournament participants will receive a goody bag including UT Martin merchandise, the aforementioned lunch, access to beverage stations and an opportunity to play alongside Skyhawk coaches and staff.
The entry fee for the event is $75 per golfer while a hole sponsorship is $100. Packages are also available, beginning with a birdie sponsorship for $175 that gets the participant one single entry into the tournament and a hole sponsorship. An eagle sponsorship is $400 and includes a foursome of golfers to go along with a hole sponsorship. A Skyhawk sponsorship is available for $750 and includes two foursomes of golfers with a pair of hole sponsorships.
The Skyhawk Club is UT Martin's official organization for generating private financial support for its athletic programs. Contributions through the Skyhawk Club help expand scholarship opportunities for student-athletes, maintain and improve physical facilities, provide academic support programming and many other resources necessary to help its teams compete in the Ohio Valley Conference.
