THE 2022 OVC BEACH VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP FIELD IS SET AS CO-CHAMPION UT MARTIN CLAIM TOP SEED IN NEXT WEEK'S EVENT

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – The 2022 Ohio Valley Conference Beach Volleyball Championship seeding is set. The University of Tennessee at Martin and Austin Peay shared the OVC regular season title with the Skyhawks earning the top seed and the Governors taking the No. 2 spot. Chattanooga is the No. 3 seed followed by Morehead State at No. 4 and Eastern Illinois at No. 5.
Morehead State is the host of the three-day event which will take place April 28-30. Streaming on ESPN+ will be available each day.
The OVC has received automatic qualification for the 2022 NCAA National Collegiate Women's Beach Volleyball Championship. This year the NCAA Tournament bracket has been expanded to 16 teams which is up from eight last year. The tourney will be held May 6-8 in at the Gulf Beach Place in Gulf Shores, Ala. The selections will be on April 30 at a to be determined time.
