UTM BASEBALL’S WEDNESDAY MATCHUP WITH ALABAMA A&M CALLED OFF DUE TO WEATHER

MARTIN, Tenn. – This afternoon's planned non-conference contest between the University of Tennessee at Martin baseball team and SWAC adversary Alabama A&M has officially been postponed due to more precipitation in the area.
Wednesday's game – which was itself pushed back from the prior evening thanks to unlucky weather – marks the third time in 2022 that a matchup between the Skyhawks and the Bulldogs has been either rescheduled or called off due to interference from Mother Nature.
Both parties will work towards potentially making up this afternoon's game later down the line, although nothing has yet been solidified. UTM will travel to Huntsville on May 17th in the 2022 finale to visit the Bulldogs.
In the immediate future, the Skyhawks will stay at home this weekend for the Ohio Valley Conference opener against Eastern Illinois. The first act versus the Panthers will begin on Friday evening at 5:00 p.m. in Martin.
