THURSDAY’S UT MARTIN BASKETBALL DOUBLEHEADER MOVED TO NORTH LITTLE ROCK

MARTIN, Tenn. – The Ohio Valley Conference opener for the University of Tennessee at Martin women's and men's basketball teams has changed locations as the Skyhawks will now take on Little Rock at Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock, Ark. Tipoff times for Thursday, Dec. 29 remains at 5 p.m. for the women and 7:30 p.m. for the men.
Extreme winter weather caused unplayable court conditions at the Jack Stephens Center, Little Rock's home facility. The decision was made to move the games eight miles northeast to Simmons Bank Arena, an 18,000-seat venue that opened in 1999.
