UT MARTIN FOOTBALL JUMPS UP TO NO. 14 IN COACHES POLL; SKYHAWKS SIT NO. 18 IN STATS POLL

MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin football program jumped up in the national polls this week after another commanding Week 5 victory. The Skyhawks will enter their Week 6 matchup ranked No. 14 in the weekly AFCA FCS Coaches' Top 25 while sitting No. 18 in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 poll.
UT Martin ranks in the top-25 in 17 different team categories and 23 individual categories. The squad sits amongst the nation's top 10 teams in blocked kicks allowed (0, first), blocked punts allowed (0, first), sacks allowed (1, first), turnovers lost (3, fourth), passes had intercepted (1, fourth), redzone offense (93.8, fourth) and blocked kicks (two, ninth).
Individually, Tyler Larco ranks third nationally in punting with 46.0 yards per attempt while Zak Wallace sits amongst the nation's leaders in rushing touchdowns (8, fourth) and total touchdowns (8, sixth).
