OVC FOOTBALL MEDIA DAY SPOTLIGHT: COLTON DOWELL

University of Tennessee at Martin junior wide receiver Colton Dowell sat down for a 1-on-1 interview as part of a virtual Ohio Valley Conference Media Day earlier this week. Entering his fourth season with the Skyhawks, Dowell has played in 30 games in his career while tallying 88 receptions for 1,362 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Dowell is a two-time All-OVC selection after ranking amongst OVC leaders in receptions (40, first), receiving yards (459, second), touchdowns (four, second), receptions per game (5.7, second) and receiving yards per game (65.6, third) while ranking 21st nationally in receiving touchdowns and receiving yards last season. While he tallied a season-high 105 yards and a touchdown against Tennessee Tech in the season-finale, arguably his most impactful game came against Southeast Missouri when he recorded a pair of receiving touchdowns.
