UT MARTIN AND NO. 2 LOUISVILLE ADD TUESDAY WOMEN’S HOOPS REMATCH TO NON-CONFERENCE SLATE

MARTIN, Tenn. – For the second time this season, the University of Tennessee at Martin women's basketball team will square off against national powerhouse and second-ranked Louisville with both programs agreeing to a midweek matchup on Tuesday, Jan. 5. Tipoff from the KFC Yum! Center is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. CST.
The contest will mark the 11th clash between the two regional foes and eighth meeting in the last seven seasons.
The two teams previously met on Sunday, Dec. 6 when then fifth-ranked Louisville Cardinals posted an 85-67 victory in the Skyhawks season opener. Each team's respective star put on a big show in the contest as All-Americans Chelsey Perry (UT Martin) and Dana Evans (Louisville) each scored 26 points each.
