
TRIO OF SKYHAWKS EARN COLLEGIATE RIFLE COACHES ASSOCIATION SCHOLASTIC ALL-AMERICAN HONORS

MARTIN, Tenn. – University of Tennessee at Martin student-athletes Celia Gelpey, Kaitlin Korinek and Rachel Mills are amongst the 157 recipients of the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association Scholastic All-American accolade.
The CRCA identified the top academic performers from 28 colleges and universities. To qualify, a student-athlete must have maintained a 3.20 or better Grade Point Average for the fall semester or have garnered a cumulative 3.20 or better GPA for their college career following the fall semester.
A junior who is majoring in veterinary medicine, Gelpey has claimed a pair of Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll awards during her Skyhawk career. The Danvers, Mass. native also earned an OVC Medal of Honor last season after posting a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Korinek, who also won the same CRCA award as a freshman in 2016-17, is a three-time OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll recipient. The senior from Irwin, Pa. is majoring in nursing.
Majoring in criminal justice is Mills, who just completed her sophomore season. The Irwin, Pa. native collected both OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll and OVC Medal of Honor accolades during the 2018-19 campaign.
