
UT MARTIN ATHLETICS STATEMENT ON COVID-19 TEMPORARY CAMPUS SUSPENSION

MARTIN, Tenn. – University of Tennessee at Martin athletic director Kurt McGuffin has issued the following statement concerning the temporary campus suspension due to the COVID-19 outbreak:
"We fully support today's decision to suspend classes at UT Martin. In conjunction with our system universities, we are actively monitoring the COVID-19 threat. We will continue working with campus officials to proceed with caution and stay ahead of the situation. With that said, all athletic events – home and away – will resume as scheduled until further notice."
