BRENTWOOD, Tenn. - University of Tennessee at Martin head volleyball and beach volleyball coach Jaclynn Wilson is the featured guest on Episode 9 of the #OVCExtra podcast, hosted by Ohio Valley Conference Assistant Commissioner for Strategic Communications Kyle Schwartz.
Wilson was named the Skyhawks' head volleyball coach on March 11, 2015 and later helped establish the beach volleyball program during the 2016-17 season. She has led the UT Martin program to the OVC Volleyball Tournament in each of the past two seasons after the program has not qualified for the event since 2012. Also this spring, UT Martin is set to host the inaugural OVC Beach Volleyball Championship.
In the episode, Wilson discusses her path to UT Martin, how her team is handling the pandemic, the differences between indoor and beach volleyball, how she balances coaching and motherhood, and her No. 1 fan - who just happens to be a best-selling author.
