UT Martin will take on Memphis at 3 p.m. before squaring off against Ole Miss at 5 p.m.

These season-opening matches start a 10-match road stretch for the Skyhawks. UT Martin plays five times in the state of Alabama, three times in Tennessee and twice in Mississippi before their home opener against Ohio Valley Conference rival Southeast Missouri on March 13.

Monday additionally marks the coaching debut of Caitlyn Williams, who was hired on Jan. 6 as the ninth tennis coach in Skyhawk history. The former Tennessee standout oversees a youthful roster that includes six underclassmen and a trio of juniors.

In the fall, Amelia Campbell led the way with eight combined victories, including six doubles triumphs which tied for the team lead with Daphne Pratt. Six of Aziza Aubin's seven wins came via singles as the true freshmen paced UT Martin in that category. Sina Albersmeier, Mizuki Sakurai and Pratt each compiled seven combined victories while Jule Streif (five) and Jillian Niedzialowski (one) also produced wins for the Skyhawks.

Jana Van Vreden was added to UT Martin's roster this spring as the freshman from Stellenbosch, South Africa will join first-year sophomore Natasha Sijan in search of their first collegiate victories.
