
SKYHAWK BASEBALL’S JORDAN STONER NAMED TO 2019 PRESEASON ALL-OVC TEAM

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Jordan Stoner of the University of Tennessee at Martin baseball program has been named to the 2019 Preseason All-Ohio Valley Conference Baseball Team.
The outfielder from Puyallup, Wash. etched his name in the UT Martin record book during his first season in a Skyhawk uniform as he put together one of the best all-around seasons in program history. He posted a .382 batting average, racked up 79 hits, scored 44 runs, belted 17 doubles and swiped 11 bases. His batting average leads the way among the 11 position players named to the preseason squad.
Stoner led all UT Martin batters in 11 categories last season including batting average (.382), at bats (207), runs scored (44), hits (79), doubles (17), triples (four), total bases (116), slugging percentage (.560), on base percentage (.465), stolen bases (11) and times hit by pitch (16) which were the most in program history in a single season. His four three-baggers and 79 hits both rank fourth for most in a single season. Stoner's 17 doubles are good for sixth most in a season while his 116 total bases rank 10th in school history for most during a season.
