"I was impressed with both teams today as they matched or exceeded our best team finishes at this meet in program history," UT Martin head coach Kevin Mangan said. "This is a super fun team that are all in it for each other."
The day began with the men's 8k at 9 a.m. The Skyhawks were paced by Schell with a time of 25:24.6 to finish 10th overall and claim the All-OVC second team nod while Smith wasn't too far behind, finishing 12th with a time of 25:26.6.

"Alex showed the biggest improvement from last year's OVC Championship to today," Mangan said. "Daniel is probably the smartest racer in the OVC while John has been consistent and helped us a lot this fall. We are glad he came here for his fifth year. While it wasn't Tim's best race, he hung tough and was a solid four for us today. Whenever we need someone to step up to be a solid fifth man, we can always count on Will."
