BRITTNI MOORE NAMED ADIDAS OVC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – University of Tennessee at Martin women's basketball player Brittni Moore has been named adidas Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the Week after a strong performance against Alabama Huntsville last week.
A native of Memphis, Moore notched her second game in double figures this season while setting a new career-high with 13 points off the bench against UAH. Moore shot 50 percent from the floor while grabbing five rebounds, notching a pair of steals while dishing out an assist.
Moore and the Skyhawks will return to action after the Christmas holiday when playing host to Mississippi Valley State on Saturday, Dec. 29. Tipoff from the Kathleen and Tom Elam Center is scheduled for 1 p.m.
