BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – The Ohio Valley Conference announced this morning that four University of Tennessee at Martin basketball games will be carried exclusively on ESPN3 in 2018-19.
ESPN3 will broadcast a pair of the Skyhawks' OVC road doubleheaders, streaming both the women's and men's games at Morehead State on Jan. 19 and at SIUE on Feb. 16. The games are being produced by Tupelo Raycom, a Raycom Media company that brings together Tupelo-Honey (founded 1996) and WebStream Sports (2006). The company has produced the OVC Football Game of the Week the past six seasons.
Overall, the league announced six ESPN3 games today – which supplement the league's previously announced 10-game linear television package and the 300-plus contests that will be streamed this year on ESPN+ (the multi-sport, direct-to-consumer subscription streaming service from The Walt Disney Company Direct-to-Consumer & International segment and ESPN).
ESPN3 is ESPN's live multi-screen sports network, a destination that delivers thousands of exclusive sports events annually. It is accessible on computers, smartphones, tablets and connected devices through that ESPN App. The network is currently available nationwide at no additional cost to fans who receive their high-speed Internet connecation or video subscription from an affiliated service provider. It is also available at no cost to U.S. college students and U.S.-based military personnel via computers, smartphones and tablets connected to on-campus educational and on-base military broadband and Wi-Fi networks.
Games aired on an ESPN network will also be available through the ESPN App, accessible on computers, smartphones, tablets and connected devices to fans who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider.
