There is now a three-way tie at the top of the OVC standings as Jacksonville State (6-2, 5-1 OVC), Murray State (4-4, 4-1 OVC) and Southeast Missouri (6-2, 4-1 OVC) each have one loss in league action. Southeast Missouri beat Jacksonville State two weeks ago to end a 36-game conference winning streak for the Gamecocks while JSU topped Murray State this past week. Southeast Missouri and Murray State will play in two weeks in what could turn out to be for a conference crown or playoff positioning.
