2025: Was one of only two Skyhawks to start in all 29 matches and play in all 107 sets…Recorded a team-best .185 hitting percentage while producing 169 kills (1.58 per set), 475 attempts, 76 blocks (0.71 per set), 46 digs, 16 service aces and 12 assists…Upped her production to a team-high .190 attack percentage with 0.78 blocks per set in Ohio Valley Conference play…Led UT Martin in kills twice, including a career-best 15 rally killers against Lamar on Sept. 13…Also produced back-to-back double-digit kills (10 against Western Illinois on Oct. 10, 12 against SIUE on Oct. 17) in league play…Season-high .556 hitting percentage came in a sweep over Tennessee State on Nov. 13 (five kills, no errors in nine swings)…Rejected at least four blocks on 11 separate occasions, including season-highs of six swats in the aforementioned SIUE matchup (Oct. 17) and against Tennessee State (Nov. 14)…Managed multiple service aces three times, including a career-high three aces in the previously mentioned Western Illinois matchup on Oct. 10…Scooped up a career-high five digs in the final match of her collegiate career at Morehead State (Nov. 19)…Was named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters.

2022: Saw playing time in 21 sets spread out over 13 matches, earning a start at SIUE on Oct. 28…Posted nine kills, three blocks, three digs and two assists…Managed two kills against Alabama A&M (Sept. 2), Arkansas State (Sept. 3) and Lindenwood (Oct. 22)…Scooped up a pair of digs in the sweep over Alabama A&M on Sept. 2…Rejected one block against Southern Illinois (Aug. 30), Southeast Missouri (Oct. 1) and Lindenwood (Oct. 22)...Was named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters...Was named to the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

BEFORE UTM: Was a force for Westfall High School under head coach Jessica Sullivan...Amassed 1,344 kills (4.3 per set) on a .343 attack percentage, 409 digs, 279 blocks and 108 service aces over a remarkable four-year prep career...Over her final two seasons, Phillips helped lead the Mustangs to a 37-10 overall record as WHS completed a remarkable turnaround to win the Scioto Valley Conference championship in 2019 – the program's first league title since 2013...Was the 2019 SVC Player of the Year and was an all-state honorable mention selection, tallying career-highs in kills (402, 4.8 per set), service aces (38) and digs (200)...Was an All-SVC first team honoree while also nabbing All-Southeast District accolades for the second consecutive season as a senior...Was spotlighted as one of just nine Division III All-Stars selected by the Ohio District 14 Volleyball Coaches Association while helping guide the Mustangs to a district championship...Overall, she slammed down at least 300 kills in each of her four high school seasons...Posted a career-best .408 attack percentage as a freshman while swatting away a career-high 82 blocks during her sophomore campaign...Also played for the highly respected national power Elite Volleyball Club based out of Plain City, Ohio.
PERSONAL: Born on Feb. 18, 2003...Daughter of Chris and Michelle Phillips...Has two older sisters, Alex and Hannah...Sister Hannah was an All-Ohio Valley Conference honoree for the Skyhawks and served as the program's director of operations during Kristin's freshman campaign...Graduated from UT Martin with a degree in marketing in May 2025 and is currently obtaining a Master's degree in business administration.
