2021-22: Provided the Skyhawks with valuable frontcourt depth, seeing playing time in 23 contests as a true freshman…Averaged 2.6 points and 1.0 rebound while logging 10.1 minutes per outing…Also added nine assists and seven steals in 233 minutes played…Scored in 14 different contests, including a career-best 12 points (on 5-of-9 shooting) in only 17 minutes against Carver College on Nov. 24…Canned a three-pointer on 11 separate occasions, including four games with multiple trifectas…Grabbed multiple rebounds in seven games, including a career-high of three boards at Eastern Illinois on Feb. 12…Handed out a career-high two assists at Southeast Missouri on Feb. 24…Swiped a pair of steals on Dec. 19 at Drake…Played big minutes down the stretch against No. 21 Murray State on Feb. 19, establishing a career-high with 21 minutes…Was named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters...Was named to the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
BEFORE UTM: Had a big summer with the Hoop Dreams AAU program under coach James R. Alexander in 2021...Was initially set to join the prestigious Liberty Heights Athletic Institute prep school program in Charlotte, NC but reclassified to the 2021 class in time to join the Skyhawks for 2021-22...Competing with the Hoop Dreams program headquartered in Lexington, Ky., Morris put up several high-scoring performances over the summer...His most notable effort came at the Adidas Atlanta Memorial Day Classic event as he tossed in 26 points with six 3-pointers against the Atlanta Celtics...Played with the Central Kentucky HomeSchool program based out of Taylorsville, Ky. during the 2020-21 season, averaging15.8 points and 9.0 rebounds over 20 games, shooting 37 percent (49-of-132) from three-point land and 76 percent (47-for-62) from the free throw line...Helped the Spartans rank No. 1 in the state for the second consecutive year along with a No. 7 ranking in the Midwest Region and a No. 17 national ranking as CKY placed second in the Silver bracket at the 2021 national tournament...Played under head coach Jason Couch for three seasons at Bullitt East High School before his senior season...Developed into a frequent contributor during his final two seasons, scoring 371 points to go along with 276 rebounds – helping the Chargers to 33 wins in that two-year span...Guided BEHS to a 20-win season, a District 24 championship and Region 6 runner-up finish as a junior in 2018-19.
