BEFORE UTM: Joins the Skyhawks from nearby Dresden High School, where he played for head coaches Levi Estes and Derek Rang and alongside current Skyhawk teammate Dresser Winn...Earned Class 1A all-state honors at linebacker as a senior, also racking up Region 7A Defensive Player of the Year status while helping DHS to a 1A state playoff berth in 2017...Tallied 114 total tackles (96 solo), 30 tackles for loss and six sacks as a senior...Scored four touchdowns (three rushing, one kick return) against West Carroll...Broke free for a 99-yard rushing touchdown against Trenton Peabody...Was named the 2017 Weakley County Prep Football Player of the Year...Helped the Lions to a perfect 15-0 record and the school's first-ever Class 1A state championship as a junior in 2016...Tallied five sacks in the 2016 state semifinal victory over Wayne County...Represented the North team in the 2017 West Tennessee All-Star Game.
