The program's only three-time All-American, Noel Meadows is in her second season as a graduate assistant on the University of Tennessee at Martin equestrian staff in 2022-23.
Last season, Meadows assisted with a Skyhawk squad that set a new school record with eight victories. UT Martin went 7-2 in Eastern College Athletic Conference action and chalked up the ECAC reserve championship for the second straight year. The Skyhawks boasted the NCEA National Fences Rider of the Year, two NCEA Ariat All-Americans, the ECAC Reining Freshman of the Year and five total All-ECAC honorees.
Meadows was a UT Martin student-athlete from 2017-21, chalking up All-American accolades as a freshman (honorable mention), sophomore (first team) and senior (honorable mention) in reining. She also earned 2018-19 United Equestrian Conference Reining Rider of the Year honors after she became the first rider in school history to win the UEC Reining Freshman of the Year award in 2017-18.
Overall, Meadows accumulated 22 head-to-head victories and six MOP's in her storied career. A two-time all-conference honoree, she notched three conference Rider of the Month accolades, two conference Rider of the Week mentions and a national Rider of the Month honor. Her career-best score of 75.5 points came on March 6, 2021 against Delaware State.
Outside of the arena, Meadows tallied a pair of NCEA All-Academic mentions and was an Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll recipient in each of her final two seasons.
A native of Staunton, Va., Meadows graduated in 2021 with a degree from UT Martin and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in business administration.
