Skyhawks and Purple Aces End In Scoreless Draw

MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin soccer team battled Evansville to a 0-0 tie Thursday at the Skyhawk Soccer Field in Martin.
The Skyhawks had four chances in the match, including two from Unni Wolf and one each from Anna Østergaard Ibsen and Ella Rucka. On the other end, the Purple Aces placed seven shots on goal Thursday.
For UT Martin, Mac Titus earned her third clean sheet of the season by turning away all seven shots on target. The Skyhawks managed more corner kicks in the game at 6-3 and tied Evansville in total shots with 13.
On Sunday, the Skyhawks close out the non-conference portion of their schedule when they travel to Southern Illinois to take on the Salukis at 6 p.m.
