MURRAY, Ky.- The University of Tennessee at Martin track and field team saw multiple career-best performances during the Margaret Simmons Invitational at Roy Stewart Stadium.

- Hank Fisher broke the school record in the javelin throw with a heave of 54.06 meters which was good enough for second-place.
- Eliana Oquendo totaled two PRs on the day with a time of 56.79 (second-place) in the 400m and a time of 1:07.35 (second-place) in the 400m hurdles
- Samir Smith set a new program record in the 200m with a blazing time of 21.60 which earned him second-place.
- Khalid White tallied a PR in the 100m race with a third-place finish and a time of 10.72.
- Rita Eimer finished as the runner-up in the 1,500m which gave her a new PR of 4:41.84.
