- Redshirt sophomore Zy Thompson of the University of Tennessee at Martin women's basketball team posted career highs of 21 points and 13 rebounds as the Skyhawks took down Lipscomb, 63-60, Thursday night at Allen Arena in Nashville. Tied at 56 with 1:02 to play, the Skyhawks hit five of six free throws and got a fast break bucket from Norah Clark to seal the 63-60 win. Along with Thompson, two other Skyhawks reached double digits Thursday night. Kenley McCarn had 14 points, to go along with five rebounds, three steals and three assists, while Brittani Wells had 13 points, five rebounds, four assists and two blocks.
 - Kenley McCarn currently leads the Skyhawks with 13.4 points per game, while Zy Thompson and Grace Billington follow at 11.9 and 8.4, respectively. On the boards, Thompson leads UT Martin with 5.7, while McCarn and Brittani Wells lead in assists at 3.4 and Sidni Middleton in steals at 2.4. As a team, the Skyhawks are averaging 62.9 points and 35.4 rebounds per game, while their opponents average 60.3 and 41.7.
