MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin soccer team fell to Little Rock, 1-0, Thursday night at the Skyhawk Soccer Field in Martin.

Little Rock scored the lone goal of the game in the 20^th minute when Maggie Turner slipped a shot through the bottom center of the goal, for what would go on to be the game-winning goal. The Skyhawks played most of the game with an 11-10 advantage after Jetney Cook was ejected for denying a goal-scoring chance. However, despite the advantage, the Skyhawks could not capitalize on it and fell 1-0.

The Skyhawks outshot the Trojans in the match, 20-11 and placed more shots on target at 10-4. Ava Huntrods, Unni Wolf and Peyton Cook led UT Martin in shots Thursday with four each, while Wolf, Cook and Parker Gelinas each had a team-high two shots on goal.

The Skyhawks return to action Sunday when they travel to Cookeville to take on Tennessee Tech at 1 p.m.
