BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Junior Allie Carroll, junior Unni Wolf, senior Mac Titus, and head coach Mike Varga of the University of Tennessee at Martin women's soccer team led the annual Ohio Valley Conference postseason accolades, earning Defender, Midfielder, Goalkeeper, and Coach of the Year. In addition, Peyton Cook, Nasti Tanninen and Yaritza Trejo were all named second-team All-OVC, with Carroll, Wolf and Titus also earning first-team honors and Carroll, Tanninen and Trejo being named to the All-Newcomer team
Carroll had an outstanding first season with the Skyhawks, scoring three goals and an assist, including the game-winner at Eastern Illinois that helped UT Martin clinch the regular-season championship. Along with Tanninen, who was also named to the OVC All-Newcomer team, the UT Martin defense limited opponents to a league-low three goals in conference play while also keeping chances off the board, allowing just 9.0 shots and 3.8 shots on goal per OVC match. The Skyhawk back line also shut out opponents eight times this season, including in five of seven OVC matches.
Wolf led UT Martin with four goals, including the game-winner at Western Illinois. She also led the Skyhawks in shots with 37, with 14 on goal.
Titus had one of the best seasons for a goalkeeper in program history, breaking her own shutout record with eight and tying for the best single-season goals-against average at 0.67. She allowed just 12 goals all year, including only three in conference play and turned away over 85-percent of the shots she faced overall and nearly 90-percent from OVC opponents.
Varga won his first OVC championship in his fourth season at the helm of the Skyhawks. A veteran of 32 seasons as a head coach, Varga delivered UT Martin its first regular-season title since 2021 in 2026 and oversaw an OVC campaign in which his team lost just one game, had five shutouts in seven matches and allowed just three goals in 630 minutes of play.
Cook earned her second All-OVC accolade by leading UT Martin in points with two goals and a team-high five assists. She scored the game-winner against Lindenwood and assisted the winning goals against Chicago State, Jacksonville State and Western Illinois.
Trejo has been a welcome addition for UT Martin, playing and starting in 15 matches. She contributed two assists, including setting up the game-winner against Southeast Missouri.
The 2026 OVC regular-season champion Skyhawks will get a week off before hosting the semifinals and finals of the 2026 OVC Women's Soccer Championship Nov. 12 and 15 at Skyhawk Soccer Field. UT Martin will take on either fourth-seeded Lindenwood, fifth-seeded SIUE or eighth-seeded Morehead State Nov. 12 at 3 p.m.
