Skyhawks Fire 2280 Smallbore Saturday

MARTIN, Tenn. – The 19th-ranked University of Tennessee at Martin rifle tea, shot a 2280 smallbore in day one of a two-day match against Murray State Saturday at the Skyhawks Rifle Range in Martin.
Joey Kovach and Liam Tegeler led the Skyhawks on the day with a 575, while Sophia Ashford was close behind at 573. Rachel Haines finished smallbore two points off her career high with a 566, with Aubrey Chenoweth and Olivia Harvey shooting a 557 and a 555, respectively.
UT Martin and Murray State return to Skyhawk Rifle Range Sunday to finish the two-day match with the air rifle portion of the competition at 9 a.m.
