CHARLESTON, Ill.- The University of Tennessee at Martin track and field teams set school records and found several podium finishes at the Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship.

The men's team gathered 35 points to finish seventh while the women's team finished ninth after scoring 29 points.

Point Scorers:

Holly Henderson earned three points for the Skyhawks after a sixth place finish in the long jump, leaping a distance of 5.65 meters.
Luke Johnson earned UT Martin's first podium finish of the week with a time of 31:37.09 to earn six points and third place.
Gabby Brown landed in eighth place and scored a point after finishing at a mark of 11:42.84 in the steeplechase.
Sam Shuman found a spot on the podium in second place for the steeplechase after posting a time of 9:01.57 that gave the Skyhawks eight points
Brady Millikin joined his teammate with points in the steeplechase by snagging a time of 9:28.51 with an eighth place finish.
Kayla Jackson, Alaina Gordon, JayleAna Wyatt and Janay Chapman finished in sixth for three points, posting a time of 47.15 in the 4x100.
Samir Smith, Chadwick Stewart, Khalid White and Ja'Kobe Ward tied the school record (41.49) for the 4x100 while earning six points and a third place finish on the podium.
Maggie Roy scored a point in the 1500m after finishing at 4:43.30 (eighth) in the 1500m.
Angus Monro landed in seventh with two points in the 1500m (3:55.66).
Khalid White brought home four points, finishing fifth (48.20) in the 400m.
Janay Chapman raced a time of 11.97 in the 100m which was good enough for three points and a sixth place finish.
Stewart finished eighth in the 100m (10.74) to add another point to the total.
Roy got four more points for UT Martin by finishing in fifth in the 800m (2:16.10).
Rita Eimer earned seventh and two points in the 800m with a time of 2:20.90.
Anaya Brown got a point for her finish in the 800m (2:28.42).
JaDerrika Welch-Fields landed five points after her fourth place finish in the 400m hurdles (1:03.53).
Chapman finished in fourth with five points after tallying a time of 24.18 in the 200m.
Shuman got two more points for the Skyhawks with a 15:02.62 finish in the 5k (seventh).
Alaina Gordon, Sanaa Smith, Eimer and Chapman collected another point in the 4x400 when they finished in eighth with a time of 3:59.74.
John Collin Askew, White, Smith and Ward wrapped up the scoring with five more points coming from a 3:16.42 finish in the 4x400 which set the new school record.
