MARTIN, Tenn. – The month of December opens for the University of Tennessee at Martin men's basketball squad with a date at McNeese as the Skyhawks put the finishing touches on their three-game road stretch on Saturday, Dec. 2. Tipoff time from the Legacy Center in Lake Charles, La. is scheduled for 2 p.m. on ESPN+.
UT Martin is making a trip to the state of Louisiana for the first time in almost exactly five years as it last played at Tulane on Dec. 5, 2018. Jacob Crews (team-high 22 points), Justus Jackson (13 points) and Williams (nine points) each splashed a trio of three-pointers apiece, helping UT Martin rattle in a season-high 13 trifectas on a 43.3 shooting percentage from downtown. Issa Muhammad (11 points, team-best nine rebounds) and Jordan Sears (eight points, career-high nine assists) almost registered double-doubles for the Skyhawks, who also sank all 11 of their free throw attempts.
