The Skyhawks (7-11, 3-4 OVC) won one game on the team's previous three-game stretch away from the friendly confines of the Elam Center. While UT Martin knocked off Southern Indiana by a narrow 63-60 advantage, the team's two setbacks were also by a thin margin against Tennessee State (71-67) and Southeast Missouri (56-54).
