UT MARTIN CROSS COUNTRY ANNOUNCES 2021 SCHEDULE

MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin cross country program has announced its 2021 schedule which includes six races – including hosting the team's first meet in recent history with the Soybean Invitational kicking off the season in September.
Following an abbreviated and altered 2020-21 season which saw both men's and women's teams championship seasons moved to January and March last year, the Skyhawks will return to normality with a full slate of competition in the fall. UT Martin will race in four regular season meets before the Ohio Valley Conference Championship and NCAA South Region Championship.
UT Martin will begin the season on Friday, Sept. 3 when hosting the Soybean Invitational in Martin, Tenn. The women's race will be held at 6:20 p.m. with the men's to follow at 6:50 p.m.
The Skyhawks will then travel to Memphis, Tenn. on Saturday, Sept. 18 to compete in the Rhodes Invitational at Shelby Farms Park. The men's race will be held at 8 a.m. with the women's race to follow at 8:45 a.m.
Both squads then head to Louisville, Ky. on Saturday, Oct. 2 for the Live in the Lou Classic held at Tom Sawyer State Park. The men's race will be held at 8 a.m. CST with the women's race to follow at 8:45 a.m. CST.
The Skyhawks will use the Bradley 'Pink' Classic as the team's final tune-up of the regular season on Friday, Oct. 15 ran in Peoria, Ill. at Newman Golf Course. The women's race is scheduled for 3 p.m. with the men's slated for 3:45 p.m.
UT Martin will look to make waves at the OVC Championship held in Nashville, Tenn. on Saturday, Oct. 30 before capping the season at the NCAA South Region Championship on Friday, Nov. 12 in Huntsville, Ala.
