
SEEDINGS REVEALED FOR UPCOMING EASTERN COLLEGE ATHLETIC CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP HOSTED BY UT MARTIN

WACO, Texas – The selection committee for the National Collegiate Equestrian Association has announced the bracket for the Eastern College Athletic Conference Championship event, which will take place on March 25-27 on the University of Tennessee at Martin campus.
SMU is the No. 1 seed in the tournament field and is followed by No. 2 South Dakota State, No. 3 UT Martin, No. 4 Delaware State and No. 5 UC Davis.
All competitions will be held at the Ned McWherter Agricultural Pavilion. The tournament starts at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 25 with a quarterfinal matchup between No. 4 Delaware State and No. 5 UC Davis.
The winner of that meet will advance to the 9:45 a.m. semifinals against No. 1 SMU on Friday, March 26. Additionally, No. 2 South Dakota State and No. 3 UT Martin will square off in the other Friday semifinal.
The semifinal victors will then clash for the right to be called ECAC champions on Saturday, March 27 at 10 a.m.
The Skyhawks are hosting a conference tournament for the third time in school history (also hosting United Equestrian Conference Championship events in 2013 and 2019). For further information on the 2021 ECAC Championships, please visit the Tournament Central link above.
