FRESHMAN BRADY FRY STAKES HIS CLAIM TO ADIDAS OVC MALE OUTDOOR TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Brady Fry, a freshman standout for the University of Tennessee at Martin, has been named adidas Ohio Valley Conference Male Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week after an impressive and record-setting performance at the Austin Peay Governors Invitational last weekend.
Fry, a dynamic athlete from Murfreesboro, Tenn. continues to how his exceptional ability throughout his freshman campaign while securing yet another personal-best, an OVC Male Track Athlete of the Week honor. Throughout his early Skyhawk career he has set several PRs while establishing himself in yet another place in the program's record books over the past weekend.
At the Governors Invitational, Fry began the day by competing in the men's 110m hurdles where he not only bested the field, but set a new program record with a time of 14.74 seconds – which ranks as the second fastest time in the OVC this season. Later in the day, he returned to action to garner his second event victory of the meet in the 400m hurdles with a time of 55.23 to narrowly miss the school mark.
