Newly added dual athlete Jalynn Landversicht wasted little time showing her potential in her first collegiate meet. Fresh off the basketball court, Landversicht tied the school high jump record with at 1.65 meters – equaling a program mark set in 2000 by Koya Webb.
Capping off the women's afternoon was Anndrea Chester who ran a massive PR in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:06.37. Then in the 3k, the duo of Lydia Lee and Breanna Roy ran well in their 3k seasonal debuts.
On the men's side it was junior Oisin O'Gailin who outmatched a competitive field in the 1500m race by placing fourth overall. Then in the men's 4x100, the quartet of Kewan Slaton, Josiah Smith, Brady Fry and Steve Jackson tied the program's record with a time of 42.58.
The notable performances continued as freshman Austin Knight ran a collegiate PR in the 800m run with a time of 1:57.36.
